This afternoon in New York City, Beats 1 premiered Extremely Bad Man’s new single Bombae Lemonade live on air. The record featuring Omenihu & Jallal was premiered by Ebro Darden on Apple Music.

The single comes of the groups album Love Is Pure which has been streamed 250,000 times since its release July, 2018.

KCRW 89.9FM in Los Angeles now broadcasting Up With The Birdies, the new single from Extremely Bad Man. Jason Kramer premiered the song live on air from KCRW Studios in Santa Monica two weeks after the release of Love Is Pure, the projects debut album.

Spotify just added Venice one of the first singles of Extremely Bad Man’s new record Love Is Pure. Venice is currently featured on Spotify’s official playlists Fresh Finds & Fresh Finds: Index, eclipsing 645,000 followers between them.

Today the group also announced Up With The Birdies (another single from the album) broke 45,000 streams across Apple Music, Tidal and Spotify.

UK’s Born Music featured the new single and music video Fiend from Elliot James. The music video directed by Joseph Mercado originally premiered on AppleMusic.

This is singer-songwriter music taken to it’s most minimal extreme. A song that is made up of few constituent parts (synth pad, acoustic guitar and vocals), the song is almost mist like, having an almost air like quality. Like sitting on a cloud, ‘Fiend’ is sensual, beautiful, and at times quite harrowing.

Elliot James here has proved himself to be a masterful songwriter. Quite like Frank Ocean’s ‘Blond(e)’, James has chosen the ‘less is more’ approach on this latest single, and that choice is a huge success.

The accompanying music video is also understated. Starring Natalie Eleftheriadis, this one shot video is emotional and quite heartbreaking. Eleftheriadis emotion is palpable, and gives the song an added kick of soul and feeling. – excerpt from Born Music review

Extremely Bad Man announced new project and upcoming debut LP Love Is Pure yesterday. The full length album will be released Friday 13th of July and distributed via Kobalt Publishing’s AWAL.

The founders announced that single releases leading up to the album would begin soon.

Last night The Reasn announced that new single Backstabbers would premiere on today at 3:55 EST. Hot 97 and Beats 1’s Ebro Darden premiered the track live on Apple Music’s Beats 1 show with an introduction from Reasn.
