This afternoon Crooked Teeth announced and teased their new single Beg coming out March 22nd on Blossöm Records, Ltd. The new single, written and produced in Los Angeles with Mike Gentile is the groups first new music since their EP Honey.

“This song is my favorite Crooked Teeth song to date. We had the privilege of working with Mike Gentile who absolutely crushed it. Lyrically, the song comes from a place of reflecting on impulsive habit and how the consequences don’t seem to matter much when in the moment, be it good or bad. In this specific scenario, obviously the latter. My favorite part of this song is how the chorus seems to hit out of nowhere, the way the melody/lyrics move in sync to compliment the vibe.” – Tyson Evans, Crooked Teeth

“I think when you’re creating and working on your art, it’s absolutely imperative to be genuinely vulnerable and let that vulnerability shine through your work to create a feeling and a vibe that the listener will automatically resonate with just as much as the creator does due to it’s authenticity. With Beg, we really took our time to look at each sonic element, melody, lyric, and part with a fine tooth comb to make sure it was the absolutely best thing that we could have came up with in that moment to serve the song, the creator’s intentions, and the listener, all equally.” – Mike Gentile

Shows on the bands upcoming spring tour, the Petaluma Tour with This Wild Life have already Sold Out in major cities.

Beg is Available Everywhere March 22nd follow Crooked Teeth for more teasers leading up to the release.

“As a means to convey the longing to escape the responsibility, stress and uncertainty of adulthood and the desire to let nostalgia take control. I hated high school, I hated my hometown, and at that time I so badly wanted to get out and take on my dreams more than anything.” – AltPress, Tyson Evans of Crooked Teeth
