Marcus Buser’s music is an expression of effortless passion. It is sentimental, yet hyper realistic, nostalgic, and wholly modern. It draws from a wide array of influences spanning Chet Baker, Sam Cooke, Sade, and the Fuggees. Buser croons romantic lyrics over infectious beats and lush harmonies.

A child of the west coast, Buser was raised in Seattle and began playing music at a young age in his gospel family band. After school, Marcus moved to Los Angeles where he has spent the last few years playing in various bands. Which stylistically range from country, jazz, rock, and hip hop.

His first solo ep Bad Dreams was recorded in his bedroom between tours and late night jazz gigs. He accomplished this with the help of jazz guitarist and hip hop producer Bryan Dedlow. Marcus Buser’s debut record is half soul pop jammers, half bedroom confessionals, and all golden.
